Transfuzion Publishing AT C2E2
New books debut! free comics!
Gary
Reed and Rafael Nieves, founders of Transfuzion Publishing, will be present at
the launch of the newest major convention of the country when C2E2 kicks off on
April 16, 2010 (and runs to through the 18th). Both Reed and Nieves will
debut new books at the show.
DEBUTS
Reed will debut his SIN ETERNAL: RETURN TO DANTE'S INFERNO trade
compilation which collects the Sinergy series published by Caliber Comics.
A mysterious guide takes a man through a journey of Hell to witness the fates of
eternal sinners. Each level is drawn by a different artist, 25 levels in
all, and includes such artists as Mark Bloodworth, Jim Calafiore, Guy Davis,
Michael Lark, Vincent Locke, David Mack, Troy Nixey, and many others. The
continuity artist that holds it all together is Galen Showman.
THE APOCAPLYSE PLAN from Nieves and artist, Dan Dougherty, had a special limited release last year and appearing at the show this year will be the regular edition. The original graphic novel tells the tale of a corporate battle between heaven and hell.
FREE BOOKS
At Gary Reed's table, he will be giving away FREE issues of Deadworld, his comic
series that has recently been published at Image, Desperado, and Transfuzion and
will now be coming out from IDW. The free issues of Deadworld will be for
the first 300 people that come to his table. He will also be passing out
free copies of Saint Germaine and other comics at his signing appearance at the
Comics Related booth. Time to be announced.
Gary will also be handing out FREE copies of his young adult novel, SPIRIT OF
THE SAMURAI, at his table with every purchase. The novel, published by
Actionopolis, is a hardcover beautifully illustrated by Star War artist, Rick
Hoberg.
TRANSFUZION TITLES
Although Transfuzion will not be set up at the show as a publisher, in addition
to the books available at Reed and Nieves' tables, Haven Distributors will be at
the show in the Indy Island area and they have all of the Transfuzion books in
stock and readily available.
