DEADWORLD
Ongoing series from Image Comics where Death is only the beginning of the horror in this world that is suffering a supernatural holocaust.  The dead have come back to life and they're controlled by an unknown force...in the shape of intelligent zombies, led by the sadistic and cruel King Zombie. It is a future world where mankind has almost turned against itself. Originally ran from Arrow and Caliber for about 45 issues.  Art by Dalibor Talajic.

PENGUIN HORROR CLASSICS Graphic Novels
For Penguin's young adult line, Puffin, these are graphic novel adaptations of classic horror tales that are manga sized (just the size, not the art) and run about 150 pages.  Dracula is based on the Bram Stoker novel and the adaptation is illustrated by Frazer Irving.  Frankenstein is an adaptation of Mary Shelley's classic tale and is illustrated by Demo's Becky Cloonan.

RED DIARIES
Her lovers were powerful men and when she threatened to go public with it, she died. Murdered?   The woman was Marilyn Monroe and her lovers included President John F. Kennedy and his brother, then Attorney General, Robert Kennedy. Her death remains a mystery...as does the contents of the Red Diary.   But now the diary has shown up...along with more diaries that chronicle a dark chapter in American history.  Assassination, cover-ups, conspiracy and more are revealed as an investigative team find themselves caught in the 40-year-old maelstrom.  From Image in June 2006.

SAINT GERMAINE
What happens when an immortal decides that its time to die?  Saint Germaine centers on the man who claimed to be immortal and his life-long love interest, Lilith.  The two have lived through time and are able to snatch the memories of those near death.  Through those memories, Germaine and Lilith have lived an eternity yet died a thousand deaths.   Created and written by Gary Reed, art was from Vincent Locke (Sandman, A History of Violence).  Locke was joined by artists who illustrated specific scenes and artists include: Galen Showman, Mike Perkins, Guy Davis, Nate Pride, Philip Xavier, and Laurence Campbell.

SPIRIT OF THE SAMURAI
Spirit of the Samurai brings the saga and majesty of the famed samurai warriors to modern day as a young girl discovers she is the last in a bloodline for the famed Toho clan.  Standing as a guardian against the evil of the Clan of the Black Rings, she must stop the samurai coming back from the dead to serve the wielder of the Sword of Hiro and find a way to free her brother from the spell of the Black Rings.  A journey of discovery as she learns the ancient teachings of the samurai from the spirit of Toho and is reconnected with her father, a man she has just met. A young adult novel from Actionopolis and illustrated by Rick Hoberg (Star Wars, Spiderman, Batman)
